Becca stepped onto her yoga mat in 2014 in order to find help with running injuries. At first, she fell in love with the physical benefits and challenges of yoga, but she soon realized the emotional, mental and spiritual benefits far surpassed her expectations. She trained with Holy Yoga to study yoga in a Christ-honoring context, and in 2015, she was invited to teach at a church in Holland. Teaching and sharing holy yoga has become her life's passion. She serves on Holy Yoga's national leadership team and has completed both the 225- and 500-hour certifications. She is also certified in Yogalates as well as Trauma-sensitive Holy Yoga. As a Hope alum, she's thrilled to be able to be back on campus doing what she loves--helping others find strength, hope and healing through Christ. When she's not teaching classes, she's spending time trying to keep up with her busy family, diving into writing projects, or getting creative in the kitchen.
